A Move You Should Do MONDAY – Sit-to-Stand Series

This week’s move is the Sit-to-Stand series. All you need is a chair and a minute. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Sit in a chair and push off with your hands to stand up x 3 reps
  2. Cross your arms on your chest and stand up x 3 reps
  3. Push off to stand up and then lower yourself down slowly for 3 seconds. Perform 6 reps
  4. Place the right foot in front and stand up x 3 reps
  5. Place the left foot in front and stand up x 3 reps

That’s it!

Why does this matter?

Getting up out of a chair is one of the most vital moves in order to function more easily. It is also one of the moves that slowly deteriorates if we don’t work on it.

This simple Sit-to-Stand series will ensure your legs stay strong, climbing stairs is safer and easier and toilet seats are not daunting. Being able to get up out of a chair easily is also linked to longevity.

Give it a try. In less than a minute, you can wake up your legs and give your body the daily boost it needs.

Because nobody has time to be in pain.

Until next time…

Kind Regards,
