Hands on WEDNESDAY – Talocrural Joint Mobilization
Use this ankle mobilization to restore range of motion, function and mobility in the talocrural joint. The primary movements at the talocrural joint are dorsiflexion and plantarflexion and these movements are essential for actions of walking and running. While the talocrural joint primarily allows movement in the sagittal plane, small amounts of transverse and frontal plane motion also occur, contributing to overall foot mobility.
