A Move You Should Do MONDAY – Arm Swing Flow

If this picture doesn’t get you to click on the video, then I’m not sure what will. It may look like I’m dancing, but I really can’t dance. Unless you call wiggling dancing. Then I’m a pro. This week’s move is the Arm Swing Flow. It’s a simple way to wake up your muscles and nervous system and improve circulation first thing in the morning. Here’s how to do it:
- First, wiggle. Get loose from head to toe and make yourself laugh.
- Then, keeping your arms lose, alternate swinging them front to back. This movement should be driven by your core, not your arms. Your arms should feel like spaghetti noodles. Perform 10 repetitions.
- Then, swing your arms in a wide figure 8, again driving the move from your trunk. Perform 10 repetitions.
- Finally, squat down a little and rotate your torso left and right. Make sure to “unglue” the heel of the side you are shifting away from.
Why does this matter?
Exercises don’t have to be hard to be beneficial. Simple movements like these will activate the core, improve circulation and take little time. Consistency is key. A little bit of wiggling every day can go a long way. Arm swinging has also been shown to improve happiness.
So give the arm swing flow a try.
Because nobody has time to be in pain.
Until next time…

Kind Regards,
