Kinesiology THURSDAY

Thursday

These posting are a series of exercises, stretches and moves that we sometimes do without realizing the full impact they can have on our bodies. For example doing a dead arm hang can stretch the Latissimus Dorsi muscle but it can also stretch the AC joint and give the Supraspinatus tendon more space to live in, resulting in less chances of a rotator cuff injury. Wow, that’s a lot from one stretch! Some articles will also describe how a slight variation in joint movement or position can change the outcome of an exercise. Make some time and try some of these concepts out for yourself.
