All About You FRIDAY – Dessert First

I know, I know. I’m supposed to talking about healthy things, but before you pass judgement on the photo above, let me tell you about a long standing tradition I have called, Dessert First Friday. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Every Friday, I eat dessert first. In my favorite place. With my favorite person.
I think life can pass us by really quickly. Get up. Exercise. Work. Chores. Weekend. Rinse. Repeat. It’s easy to miss the gifts that are in your every day. They are there, I promise you.
I think we don’t celebrate the little things enough. After all, if you find the magic in the little things, the big things you always wanted will start to show up.
My life is a testament to that. Celebrate your week however you want. Just make sure to celebrate it with the ones you love. We have a lot for which to be grateful. And gratitude is one of the healthiest habits you can develop.
